Week 33 - The Lasso Way 🐠

This week was a zero-productivity week since I’ve got covid, and was playing a hot-couch-potato game with me being a couch-potato, and rather hot, up to 39°C (102.2°F) temperature 😲

Still, there is always another side of a coin, and from a positive perspective, I was able to sleep during the workweek, read books, and watch Ted Lasso in between naps 😁

And, it was not just a pleasure and fun to watch it, but I also learned a lot, and here is just a small list of quotes I took while watching it 🤓

  • The happiest animal is a goldfish because it has a 10-second memory. Be a goldfish.

  • Truth will set you free, but before it’ll piss you off.

  • People are different people.

  • Don’t fight back, fight for.

  • Many times, the right idea sits right behind a few bad ones.

  • If anything, you should find out before you flip out.

  • Don’t you think it’s bad karma to celebrate someone else’s bad karma?

  • Your father is your father, and you can’t change him, but you can be who you are to prove him wrong.

Of course, those might be just words without a context, but I’d say that context just adds to their power, and to sum up 3 seasons with 10-12 episodes for 30-40 minutes (😅):

It’s so much easier when you approach the world with an open mind, understand that everyone has their own story, and many times you even see the very same thing from totally different perspectives. Still, no matter all those differences, honesty, truth, trust, and support always prevail, making you and the people around you better.

Also, it doesn’t mean you won’t fight or always be friends with everyone, it just means that the faster you understand that there is more than one way to be right, leave aside all the expectations for others, and just accept people as they are, life will be much more beautiful and happier 🤗

And yes, since I was in bed all week, there is no small weekly motivational video, it’ll be next week, so stay tuned 😉
