Week 30 - Speak out loud 📣
This week I’ve got 2 speaking opportunities where I talked about:
connecting the community with business and making it work so that stakeholders would care at the international event for community builders, organized by CMX and Led by Community,
the 3 main powers in the future of workforce - full-time, freelance, and AI - and how to make them work together, and what people from different backgrounds should do right now (btw, I have this recording, so if you’d like to see it - drop me a message 😉).
And if the first one was online and it felt like talking to myself (afterwards folks connected with me on LinkedIn and gave very good feedback), then the next one was in person, and it’s a totally different feeling when you see real humans, their reactions: smiles, concerns, nods, thinking process, etc.
So for every expert out here, there is the note to remember:
You must speak up and share your knowledge with others, because that’s the way you grow as an expert and as a human!
Also, a few weeks ago, I had a conversation with my good friend, and he told me: “Why are you still listening to other podcasts, you have to focus on yours!”, and I was in my mind like “Come on, I have those conversations, and I listen to other podcasts to learn from them even more”.
Still, this week I’ve tried to listen to The Independent Workforce (the podcast that is coming out next week), and the Humans of Business, and I’ve got some takeaways:
first of all, my podcasts are rather professional compared to others I’m listening to, they’re quite insightful, and I was really surprised how good it sounds and how smooth the conversation flows 🤓
secondly, I’ve learned some things that I’ve missed during the conversation itself - so hosting a podcast and listening to it afterwards makes a lot of sense in terms of how I learn information from guests
finally, I found even more nuggets of wisdom - both from guests’ and my side - that I will turn into small videos, and share with the world 🤩
Also, because of finding more and more nuggets of wisdom, I decided to break “LinkedIn rules of posting” that says to have a better reach you have to post once in 24 hours, so the more clips I’ll have, the more I’ll post out there, and I believe that algorithms will put it to those who needs to see it! So I’ll be experimenting and posting even more in the future 🤩
Finally, my daily actions about asking people for feedback about me and my website led to over 50 people telling me how I helped them (even though sometimes not directly), over 20 folks left amazing recommendations on LinkedIn, and over 15 folks gave me feedback on what to improve on my website!
So now I have a much better understanding of my superpowers, and also how to improve my website, which means that next (and maybe other) week I’ll be working in adjusting my professional approach to my superpowers I learned about from folks, and also making my website clearer and prettier 🤗🤩
Last but not least, some time ago I accidentally purchased this journal (even though I thought I had ordered the book itself), so this week I finally started filling it up, and it feels very good to put some thoughts into life-related philosophic questions, and put them on paper, so I will keep observing how it will work for me 😉

And here is my next small motivational video (btw, for next videos I’ll explore the gap gap theory from my book of the week - to start with opening a question, and after that give a solution 🤓):
Thoughts of the week:
“Everybody thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” - Leo Tolstoy, The Economist
“Discomfort is a part of the life process; every step that we learn brings discomfort in the beginning.” - Esther Perel, A bit of optimism podcast
“The greatest flaw of mankind is holding a strong opinion that is wrong and being unwilling to change it.” - Ray Dalio, DOAC podcast
Song of the week:
Book and quotes of the week:
“If we want to motivate people to pay attention, we should seize the power of big surprises.”
“To be surprising, an event can’t be predictable. Surprise is the opposite of predictability. But, to be satisfying, surprise must be “post-dictable.” The twist makes sense after you think about it, but it’s not something you would have seen coming.”
“Curiosity happens when we feel a gap in our knowledge.”
Tools that I use with referrals:
Descript - for anything around podcasting and video editing
Manus - for building complex systems and projects
Beehiiv - for a newsletter (that’s what you receive 😅)
Text Blaze - to access message templates with shortcuts (like “/ty”)
Exali - promo “FROMYURII” - indemnity insurance for independent experts in Europe

participate in a secret LI support group
read a self-development book/listen to a professional podcast for 15 minutes
make a valuable post/comment on LinkedIn
tag 30 people in my database
work 30 minutes solely on my business 😎
