Week 18 - So, what do you do? 🤔
This week, I’ve met a few new people in the community and freelance world, and all of them asked, “So where can I find your podcast and newsletter?” My answer was in every case: “Mmmm, they’re everywhere, let me find the links and share with you.”
And it is the reality, so I use YouTube, Spotify, Substack, Beehiiv, LinkedIn, Notion, and even try to create a Patreon page 😲😅
Additionally, continuing conversations about the Patreon page, people told me that I have a mishmash of offers across all tiers because I work with community builders, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and businesses, and it’s very hard to answer a “what’s in it for me?” question.
That’s why I’ve decided to collect all the resources I've in one place and systematize them by specific segments, so everyone who sees it will find something relevant to themselves (I mean, of course, if it’s really for them).
Still, I have resources everywhere and so many that I decided to go and ask the wisest for advice, and, yes, I talk about ChatGPT 😎 and here’s how my first chaotic prompt looked like:
hey there, I create many-many valuable resources about business, community, human connections, freelancing on different platforms, such as Youtube, spotify, beehive, substack, Notion, and I have podcasts, blog posts, articles, playbooks, online meetups, (I even have a shop with merch), and I want to create a Notion page where to specifically describe each product and for whom it is, and add it in a way that if a eprson comes to the page, they wil ldefinitely find something for them, plus mention on top of the page (and through the page) the way they can support my work, and get even more value, so please ask me aditional questions that will help you help me to build the most understandable page
The best thing about ChatGPT (and any LLM system) is that you can use it as a brain dump for all you have in your mind without real structure, and structure it later on during the next steps, so here are the questions I’ve got from this prompt:
🧭 1. About You & Purpose of the Page
What’s the one-liner you'd like to use to introduce yourself at the top of the page?
What’s the main purpose of this Notion page: discovery, support, conversions, clarity—or a mix?
Should this page also act as a link-in-bio for your social media profiles?
🛠️ 2. Support Options
How can people support your work? (☑ Buy merch, ☑ Paid subscriptions, ☑ 1:1 coaching, ☑ Affiliate links, ☑ Tips/Buy Me a Coffee, ☑ Donations, etc.)
Do you have one central place where all the support options are listed, or should this Notion page serve that function too?
Are there “premium” or gated resources you want to promote here?
📦 3. Your Products/Resources
Let’s map your content to categories. For each category, I’ll ask:
What do you have?
Who is it for?
What’s the best way to present it? (e.g. links, embeds, visuals, short blurbs)
Example categories:
A. Podcasts
What are your podcast names and their themes?
Do you want people to explore by topic or by podcast?
B. Newsletters / Blogs
Where are they hosted (Substack, Beehive, etc.)?
What topics do you cover?
Do they require a subscription?
C. Video Content (YouTube)
Do you organize by playlist/theme (e.g. Freelance Tips, Community Building, etc.)?
Any standout series you want to feature?
D. Events / Meetups
What’s the format (live, recurring, recorded)?
Is it open to everyone?
How do people join or RSVP?
E. Playbooks, Templates, Notion Docs
What type of resources do you offer? (e.g. freelance contracts, community KPIs, client onboarding templates)
Are these downloadable, view-only, or part of a paid package?
F. Shop / Merch
What’s in your shop? (T-shirts? Posters? Mugs?)
Is it meant for fun, income support, or brand spreading?
G. Courses / Coaching / Services
Do you offer any products people can buy/join? (e.g. coaching sessions, courses, freelance toolkits)
Should we list pricing or link out to another page?
🎯 4. User Navigation
What are the main types of people landing on your Notion page? (e.g. freelancers, company founders, community builders, podcast fans, random curious folks, etc.)
Do you want to offer “Quick paths” like:
→ “I’m a freelancer, what’s for me?”
→ “I want to join your events”
→ “Looking for your podcast”?Would you like to feature a “Start Here” or “Top Picks” section?
✨ 5. Tone, Style & Visuals
Do you want the tone of the page to be more:
Casual and friendly
Professional and polished
Creative and playful
Do you want to include icons, cover photos, or custom branding (colors, emojis, fonts)?
Next, I’ve gone and answered all the questions, of course, restructured them a little bit, asked for the title, and told them that I also need to include some CTA within the page for people to find out about my Patreon, and the way they can work with me.
And, voila, here’s my MVP version of “Resources to Help You Grow, Build, and Connect 🌱” 🤩🤩🥳🥳🤓🤓
MVP because I’ve just started filling it out, and will definitely continue next week, and when it’ll be 90% ready, I’ll start my testing path - ask 5 people daily about what they think about it 😏🤓😉
Also, some folks questioned my Patreon page in a way that I’m already using Beehiiv and Substack, and both those tools can create paid subscriptions, and even I can just create a Notion page (or use some vibe-coding tools to create a website), and just add payment inside using Stripe.
So I’ll stop asking people about Patreon, and discover some existing options first, for example, I’ve just received an email from Beehiiv that they’ve just rolled out a new feature - building of customized websites 😲 Just in time 😎
And 3 more things I’ve learned:
I’ve met an interesting person with whom we had an exciting conversation about the future of work and how we’re moving from hiring for a position with random tasks and a fixed skillset to hiring for specific goals and tasks and flexible skills 🤓
I’ve been telling a few folks about what I do and what I like doing the most, such as having podcast conversations, and one person connected me with someone who is doing podcasting as a business, and I hope to meet them soon and learn from them
I’ve decided to implement some SEO tactics on LinkedIn, which means that in the comments for each post I add links to other posts of this series (like for freelancers, community ROI, or human connections), and I’m currently building a system in Google Sheets that helps me continue doing it, and the MVP version of it looks like this 👇

So yeah, stay hungry, stay curious, and see you next week 😉🤩
